Keiser University’s College of Golf - A Treasure in the Heart of Port St. Lucie

(Vocus) May 11, 2010 -- The new campus training facility at the Keiser University College of Golf has begun holding classes for their Associate of Science in Golf Management Program. The 20,000 square-foot facility includes a 1,500 square foot indoor putting green that features a fringe and 9 holes. This state-of-the-art technology includes a 3-D motion swing analysis system by Taylormade, a high-tech, interactive golf simulator, as well as a golf club repair lab.

Dr. Eric Wilson, PGA Master Professional and Vice President for the College of Golf said, “By taking advantage of our high-tech training systems, our students will have a fully educational hands-on experience to prepare them for the golf careers of their dreams. We have placed a great deal of effort into the design of the facility and all of our equipment has been fully betted and tested by golf professionals.” remarked Wilson.

Dr. Arthur Keiser, the Chancellor of Keiser University remarked “The golf industry provides employment for over two-million people in the United States from Pro Shop Managers to tournament operators to course and club staff and managers. Graduates of the program can be eligible for a golf career (http://collegeofgolf.keiseruniversity.edu/careers-golf.php) in as little as 16 months with an Associate of Science in Golf Management and they will have earned sex credits toward those required for PGA membership,” he added.
